Zimbabwe: A Regional Solution?

In September 2007, the International Crisis Group reported on the latest efforts to “… escape a crisis that increasingly threatens to destabilise the region” by suggesting the Southern African Development Community as a key player. It urged the regional body “… to resolve internal differences about how hard to press into retirement Robert Mugabe … and the wider international community needs to give it full support.”
